Sonnet 18

Interpretation

Sonnet 18 which was written by William Shakespeare is one of my favorite poem because it signifies a woman.
William Shakespeare wants to compare the beauty of a woman to the summer day because summer's beauty is lovely and temperate.
But then shakespeare emphasized that the eternal beauty of a woman shall not fade or vanished because that is the true meaning of the word beauty.

Reaction

"Beauty is in the eye of the beholder" they say. Every human being has their own opinion and description when it comes to the word beautiful. like what William Shakespeare wrote. He wrote sonnet 18 which talks about a woman being compared to a summer day because of its lovely and temperate beauty. But what I liked the most in the poem is that the author didn't just talk about the literal meaning of the word beauty but he gave emphasized that the important thing in being beautiful is the eternal side.
