On His Blindness
Every one of us is a "UNIQUE" person made by God with gifted talent, intelligence and skills. Maybe some of us think that those disabled person are burden to their family and to others, but that's the big mistake of everyone's mind. Even though they are blind, they have skills which cannot do by normal individual. They also have feelings. Once they hear discrimination and bullying from others, make them hurt. But even though they heard murmur and bad wordings to others, they still have the most powerful armor and that was their "faith in God." They continue fighting to the struggles in life. They have the character of patience that makes them strong. Their light and eyes is God which they know that He is the one who sees them, understand and makes them strong in everyday living. They know that God will give them what He promised to that person who have patience, humble and who keep their faith to God.
After analyzing the poem "On His Blindness," I'm very much thankful to God for not creating me a disabled one. I must enhance the talent He gives to me. Be strong and never give up because problems are challenges of God to us. One thing is that I am proud to those who are disabled for the reason that their situation is not their hindrance and they continue fighting to the struggles of life. Still, faith in God is the most powerful armor for each and everyone.
