John Milton's poem "On His Blindness" will surely give its reader an inspiration. Hope and patience are the once he is employing for everything would be fine at the end.
From his work I can say that he really treasure his talent yet his sight is leaving him in dark. It is hard to be in his position, but he manage to find light at his darkest moment. For he believe in god, that god is the one caring enough to be with us in our nothingness.
