Its all about Literature

For me, the topic in literature that strikes me was the definition of literature because it is lasting and permanent. Also it is based on reality and experience of individual or thew author. Second, is the short story because I love reading a story because for me it is relaxing and interesting.
I want to know about the literature of the world which is about the novel because I want to watch a movie and I think I can easily understand the story if I watch it and I don't want to read a long story that's why I'd rather watch it. I have a good experience in literature because it is sometimes interesting even though it is hard to understand.
